Is there anything that I have to pay apart from the rent?
We offer a traveling package for one week (7days)

Apartment Room fee： 6,500 yen /per night
Administration fee ： 1,000 - 4,000yen

6,500yen *days+10,000yen+ Administration fee
For long-term customers (more than one month)

Are rooms equipped with air conditioners?

Can I send my luggage to CMM before I arrived? Or may I purchase things on the website and send them to CMM?
Basically, we don’t accept luggage or stuffs before you arrive, but if there is a medical issue, or urgent issue, please contact our staff to arrange for you.
Where is your office located?
Our office is located in Kyoto, Japan. Please visit our office page for details of our location and office hours. Besides CMM series we also provide you the order-made rooms which are located very much near stations.
What kind of documents do I need to sign the Lease Agreement?
Please bring the following documents with you when you come to our office to sign the Lease Agreement:
a. A copy of your passport and visa will be made for filing purposes only.
b. Your personal information including your address, birthday, numbers, and other required information.
How does CMM weekly apartment differs from ordinary weekly apartment Japan?
For short term traveling customers:
Our rooms are better than other hotels with wonderful design and no need deposit money and gift money, for Japanese we need a guarantor and several documents, if you use our traveling package, you don’t need a guarantor.
For long term traveling customers:
For renting a room in Japan, a large deposit is usually required, equivalent to 1 - 2 months’ rent, and the gift money to the landlord (or "reikin" in Japanese, 1 - 2 months’ rent, not refundable) and commission to the agents (1-month rent, non refundable).
Along with the first month's rent, all you need to be prepared to pay an amount equivalent to up to 6 months’ rent, possibly thousands of dollars. Moreover, these apartments are not furnished. You have to buy your own furnitures and utilities are not included in the rent (a further 10,000 - 15,000 Yen/month).
At CMM apartment, we only require the first month's rent to move in, and cleaning fee and management fee. In some case, we still need to charge you gift money due to house owner insists.
Rooms are furnished and utilities are already included so you don't have to go through the trouble of applying for services Japanese.
Is it possible to reserve a room from overseas?
A. For traveling: contact supersming@msn.com and fill in our forms. Availability can be checked on this website or by simply contacting us by
E-mail. After confirming vacancies, a reservation can be made by simply completing the deposit agreement and transferring reservation fee by wire. For Taiwanese guests, we have our Taiwan account for transferring money.
B. For long term visitors:
Payment for the first month's rent is not required until you come to our offices to sign the lease agreement. Please contact us for further information on payment. (Please be reminded that any room or bed cannot be reserved without the deposit)
Can I breed a pet in the room?
No. definitely not, we don’t accept any kinds of animals and pets in the room.
Please visit our Kyoto office on the move-in day and your keys could be collected after signing the agreement. And after our office hour, our staff will pick you up and send you to the room by taxi and deal with contracts in the room. For urgent condition, you may gain the key in your mail box, and sign contract later.
Can I cancel after reservation / making a contract?
Cancellation after reservation is subject to cancellation charges.
1month - 8 days before the moving-in date:
50% of reservation fee and Cleaning & Management fee.
7days before - on the day of moving date:
100% of reservation fee and Cleaning & Management fee.
For reservation fee: No refund!
Does CMM provide rental bicycle?
For foreigners, we offer traveling package including 2 free bikes, but if you want more than 2 bikes, we may charge you 800 yen per day.
Your office closes at 6 p.m. My flight arrives at Kansai Airport at 12 p.m., Do I have enough time to check in?
From Kansai Airport to Kyoto it takes approximately 1.5 hours. If your flight arrives in Kansai before 5:00pm please come to our offices on the same day. After 9:00 pm, we still have staff to welcome you, but if your flight arrives after 5:00pm, we do not recommend hurrying to our office with all your baggage, since it would not be an easy ride especially during rush hour! Instead we suggest that you take your time and relax in hotels and move to our apartment next day.
Is there a internet access in the house/room?
Yes. We provide free internet service. Mostly with wireless connection and all houses with cable in each room. In Machiya series,w e also provide shared computer in the lounge room.
The equipment is not working properly or broken.

There will be 3 of us. Is it possible to have an extra bed?
Depending on the size of the room, an extra bed can be provided upon request. In all rooms we provide efficient "Futon" sets (Japanese mattress) for your comfortable stay.
My friend is coming to Kyoto. Can I let her / him stay in my room?
In the case that you wish to have a guest stay over please inform us in advance. A fee of 1,000 yen per night/person will be applicable. But please inform CMM before your stay, we will charge the fee from the beginning of your stay.
Is there a phone in the room
We don’t provide the phone in the room, for long term customers we can apply a phone for you.
When should I check out?
Basically the check out time is 12:00 PM, in some case you can consult us earlier with e-mail.
Can I pay by credit card?
Sorry, we don’t accept credit card at this moment.
How many days should we stay at least for short term traveling?
5 days is minimum for out short term traveling, but we suggest you take use of our 7 days traveling package.
Can I smoke in the room?
We don’t accept customers smoke in the room, we have some area is allow people to smoke. Please do not smoke in our apartment.
